Hello! We are the roasters, crafters, curators, and artists behind Real Hero Coffee!
Tanya, co-founder
Tanya is the co-founder and creative force; a self-taught, lifelong artist who has been drawing since childhood. She blends her love of art, architecture, and comic book heroes into every bag design, often creating original artwork. When she’s not designing, she loves being a mom, a wife, traveling, and connecting face-to-face with customers at conventions and events.
Tony, co-founder
Tony is the co-founder and master roaster; overseeing everything from green coffee logistics to the final perfect roast. An expert at every step, he doesn’t miss the details. He loves comic conventions, where he can shop and talk with customers face-to-face. Outside of coffee, he’s into anime, manga, epic fantasy, video games, and adventuring with his kids and wife Tanya on hikes, ski trips, NYC visits, and concert date nights.
Ronald, VP Canada
Ronald leads the Comics on Coffee Canadian HQ in Montreal, working closely with Tony to source top-tier green coffee and roast it fresh on Canadian soil. A lifelong comic book nerd, movie guru, and art-and-architecture enthusiast, he brings family-level passion to every batch. Traveling to conventions across Canada, he routinely sells out and is on a mission to redefine the country’s coffee scene with a bold new wave of quality.

They began as customers, quickly became friends, and now are truly family, showing up with rare dedication and care.
This crew works 15-hour days at comic conventions across the US, sharing coffee and conversation with fans nonstop. They believed in the vision from the very beginning and chose to be part of the story rather than watch from the sidelines.
